For second year in a row, in 2012, Sofia Architecture Week produced architecture workshops in which popular Bulgarian architects hеld classes at a number of Sofia schools.
Тhe result from their collaboration was shown at an exhibition during the festival. The project aimed to convince some three hundred fifth-to-eighth graders that architecture can be both rewarding and fun. The workshops were led by ten studios, including I/O Architects, Aedes Studio, +architecture, PS architects, and deset. The students were asked to improvise on a typical classroom assignment – “My School: A Place for Science and Culture” – through models, sketches and other materials.
The exhibition, that took place at NDK between the 23November and 2 December, made all of them believe that no effort goes unnoticed and unappreciated.
