The first edition of Sofia Contemporary, a festival of contemporary art, took place in Sofia between 19 October and 9 November 2012. Sofia Contemporary presented diverse artistic means, traditional and new media, urban and interior spaces for and with art. The festival discussed various attitudes to the problems of our time, territory, gender, social and political frustrations as well as affiliations. Curator: Iara Boubnova
