Royal College of Art graduate Ariane Prin is French, but currently has a shop/gallery/workshop in London. She has worked on projects for brands such as W Hotels, Zanotta, Ligne Roset, Hennessy, Quiksilver, the Gautier furniture company. Her personal projects relate to a number of disciplines: product design, research, graphic design and art installations. She always pursues connecting human activities with environmental principles and the results range from practical improvements and everyday solutions to more abstract concepts. She thinks a design project is particularly rich when paired with something outside the design world, so she takes every opportunity to work with bakers, biologists, hairdressers, acrobats, experts in environmental technology, as well as Japanese craftsmen.

For her project From Here For Here last year Ariane used waste from various departments of the Royal College of Art to set up a local pencil factory that supplied drawing tools to students.

In Sofia Ariane will do the same - on 2, 3 and 4 June she will make a personal demonstration and she will give a workshop on making pencils out of waste at + Тova.

The pencils and the machines will be exhibited there for the whole week.
