Architecture is almost always present in film, but it is rarely featured as its main subject. Yet there are many excellent cinematographic works which treat the topic of architecture and show, as no other medium, the lifespan of an idea, a building or a whole city. Together with the directors of the Rotterdam and New York/Chicago Architecture film festivals and the director of the So Independent Film Festival in Sofia, we invite you to discuss the way film changes our perception of architecture and why it is a preferred medium for presenting and studying it.
